Licensed LTA Club Coach
Kate joined Blackheath Lawn Tennis Club in January 2020 following the birth of her son.
Kate began her coaching career at Blackheath in 2008 having returned from a tennis scholarship at North Carolina State university. Since then, she has gained an extensive amount of coaching experience; working with the GB Paralympic wheelchair tennis players at the National Tennis Centre and working as part of the team at a successful coaching programme at another club.
As a junior player, Kate reached top 15 in the country and won the U18 Kent county championships in both singles and doubles. She has played in the Kent county team since she was 12, and was part of the National winning team as a junior and a senior.
Kate has a passion for tennis which can be seen in her enthusiasm on and off the court. She can be found on court coaching members of a variety of ages and levels and in all areas of the coaching programme.
